The City of Hudson is name after its founder, David Hudson. Hudson was a stop on the underground railroad. In 1973 a large area of the village downtown was listed a the National Register of Historic Places as the Hudson Historic District. The district was expanded in 1989. In 1994 voters approved the merger of the Village of Hudson and the Township of Hudson to create what is now known as the City of Hudson.
Since 1997, Anthony Slabaugh Remodeling & Design has served Hudson residents and surrounding communities, including Twinsburg, Aurora, Chagrin Falls, Stow, Peninsula, Bath Township, and Cuyahoga Falls. A large part of our work is produced in Hudson, Ohio. We have remodeled dozens of kitchens and bathrooms, finished basements, additions to historical homes, and uncountable home updates to many of the homes in the City of Hudson.
