Silver Lake is a Village in Summit County, Ohio and shares the same zip code as Stow, Ohio. Silver lake is nestled in between the cities of Stow and Cuyahoga Falls. Beginning in 1874 the Lake and the surrounding land was known as the Silver Lake Amusement Park featuring animal exhibits, a roller coaster, a dance hall, and hotel. It was sold in 1917 and eventually became a residential community.
The Village of Silver Lake is a gorgeous community with tree-lined streets around beautiful lakes. About 2500 people live in the Village. It is said that living in Silver Lake can be “tranquil and peaceful”.
