From Our Studio to Martha Stewart: A Design Feat Worth Celebrating!

There are moments in the world of interior design that stand as testament to creativity, innovation, and sheer hard work. Today, we're ecstatic to share one such moment that has our team on cloud nine from a kitchen remodel we recently completed in Hudson, Ohio.

On September 25th, 2023, our very own Lindsey Putzier's design brilliance was showcased in none other than Martha Stewart! In an article penned by Wendy Rose Gould titled "10 Gorgeous Kitchen Backsplash Ideas Interior Designers Love", our project secured its rightful place at the top of the list. Yes, you read that right - numero uno!

Lindsey's commitment to envisioning unique and functional spaces has always been a cornerstone of our design ethos. This feature, amidst a plethora of outstanding designs, not only emphasizes her exceptional talent but also mirrors our collective passion for crafting spaces that resonate.

If you haven't had a chance to marvel at the design yet, we strongly encourage you to. Dive into the world of backsplashes that radiate elegance and make kitchens the heart of the home. And while you're at it, maybe gather some inspiration for your next home project. You can view the full article and our featured project on marthastewart.com.

This is more than just a feature; it's a celebration of the journey of creation, from the first draft on paper to seeing our work acknowledged on such a prestigious platform. We're deeply thankful to Martha Stewart for the recognition and to all our clients who continually trust us with their spaces. Here's to many more design adventures ahead!

Tile is often selected based on color or pattern, but in smaller bathrooms, scale and layout play a more important role. The way tile is sized and arranged can significantly influence how the space feels. In compact guest bathrooms, poor tile selection can create visual fragmentation. Excessive grout lines, inconsistent patterns, and improper scale can make the room feel smaller than it is. At Anthony Slabaugh Remodeling & Design , we design guest bathrooms in Hudson, Akron and surrounding areas with a focus on proportion and layout. Tile is not just a finish. It is part of the spatial structure. Scale defines perception.
